NFL OWNERS FINALLY GOT SOME B____S – #86
AS AN INFANTRY GRUNT STATIONED WITH THE 11TH AIRBORNE DISION IN GERMANY, I WAS THE PROUDEST SOLDIER – READY TO SERVE MY COUNTRY, SERVE MY PRESIDENT, HAVE PRIDE IN THE U.S. FLAG, AND REALLY APPRECIATE THE FREEDOMS THAT I ENJOY EVERY DAY.
Then came along Colin Kaepernick who had a fair record with the S.F. 49er’s only to decide to publicly disgrace the flag by kneeling before thousands of fans during the playing of the National Anthem before each game. Colin departed the NFL in a very short period of time – he hasn’t worked as a quarterback for the last three years. The owners will make sure that the bans are enforced until they decide to deal with them. On Nov. 16th at 12:03 pm it became very evident that the workout would not take place. The workout that was arranged, with the blessing of team owners, to allow Colin to show that he still had the skill sets needed to play in the NFL.
The workout was cancelled as a result of improper preparation of waiver forms by both sides. The NFL said it was caught off guard that Kaepernick had issues with the contents of the form they had sent to him the Wednesday before the event. Colin had five days to make any corrections and get this waiver done to suit both sides. While the NFL was asked to be considerate on the issue of accepting Kaepernick’s form with his language – they didn’t. Colin had to find a new gym – he had very low attendance, but did manage to make a video of the workout that was sent to all NFL teams. Colin communicated the fact that he would go to any facility for a normal interview and workout process. No teams have contacted him for that interview and workout.
I wish that Colin would continue on the path of self destruction for years past NFL prime. While on this journey, I wish that he would gain some respect for America, the office of the President, the flag, and gain a complete love of the freedom that we enjoy in America.
THE MANAGEMENT LESSON TO BE LEARNED IS THAT:
This country and its people is much greater than any one individual and the Colin’s in the world. Avoid having your business run by dissidents! I would fight until death for his freedom to kneel when the national anthem was played, as long as he did not try to influence the thousands of fans in attendance, and that he protested in a discreet manner. He already has lost a minimum of $12 million in potential salary, and I wish him to have to pay another $20 million – at least. You should have noticed how discreetly the 32 NFL handled the problem-congrats.
God Bless America !!
God Bless the Majority of Strong NFL Team Owners!!
